A new website for Johnston Schools energized the entire community. We kicked everything off with extensive discovery meetings of students, parents, district staff and community members.
We added a digital backpack system that makes managing community events and their associated flyers a breeze. Most of our clients reduce the amount of time each week to manage their digital backpack from four hours to 15 minutes.
The ultimate result was remarkable and created a sense of unity and pride for the district.

Intuitive + uncomplicated = effortless
We made it a breeze for visitors to use their new district calendar, which contains information about 2,500+ events each year. The calendar makes it easy to search for an event with a text search or by adjusting filters on the fly. Site visitors can effortlessly save an event to their personal calendar or phone by clicking an icon.
The result? Thousands toss their printed calendars in the trash after one look at the new website calendar.

Teacher websites improve communication
Never has it been easier for parents to keep a pulse on what’s taking place in their child’s classroom. Each teacher can create their own website by choosing from a variety of design options within the district’s brand and customizing it for their needs.
It only takes about 10 minutes for a teacher to create their website. During that process, they can choose which modules they want to include such as a news/blog module, photo gallery and classroom calendar. And, to the occasional chagrin of students, a homework module informs students about due dates and shows documents & helpful links students will need while they work on their homework.
