Waukee is known for its innovative and forward-thinking approach to education. Our team created a suite of web presences for the school district; 16 schools, Waukee Community Education, Waukee Silver Cord, intranet, activities websites and the APEX program. Woah nelly!
At a Glance
As one of the largest school districts in Iowa, the new web presence for WCSD had to be an easy experience for students, families and staff. The intuitive navigation, responsive design and consistent branding makes the perfect home for WCSD’s message and information. Many landing pages for schools and community education feature the district’s Instagram feed, keeping users connected with current happenings at the district.

A close connection to schools
We created websites for each of Waukee’s 16 schools. Each school website has its own independent home page and site navigation. Every site has the capability to display an Instagram feed, news announcements, events, fast facts, and more!
Education for everyone
WCSD’s Community Education website brings educational opportunities to kids, youth and adults by partnering with community organizations. The Community Education website allows people to find and register for classes and view updates such as upcoming district and Community Education events. Waukee Silver Cord students can connect to the Silver Cord portal to clock in volunteer hours.
