SC7 needed a website that matched the scale and spirit of their 30-day expedition across South Carolina. We designed a bold, immersive site that showcases their mission. The new site includes a digital field guide, and blog—each one helping tell the story of the journey. Most importantly, it highlights South Carolina’s seven natural wonders, giving each its own space to shine.

The Expedition
SC7 is a month-long journey that highlights South Carolina’s seven natural wonders—from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Atlantic coastline. We created a custom expedition landing page that uses a snap-scroll effect to walk visitors through the route and purpose of the expedition. Each “Wonder” page showcases unique visuals, trail info, and ecological details, giving people a taste of what it’s like to explore the state’s stunning biodiversity.
Blog
To bring the adventure to life in real time, we built a robust blog platform that chronicles each day of the 30-day expedition. With engaging storytelling, video content, and dynamic photo galleries, the blog gives followers a front-row seat to their state.
Digital Field Guide
The digital field guide is the ultimate companion for anyone interested in SC7. It includes interactive content for every stop along the expedition, with trail descriptions, activity highlights, and educational content. An embedded map lets users explore the entire route and filter by interest—hiking, paddling, climbing, and more—making it both fun and functional for adventure seekers and educators alike.
